Luis Almaraz

Owner and Dispatcher

With over 20 years of personal experience in the moving industry, Luis has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to make relocations efficient and stress-free. In 2018, he founded LAP Movers alongside his father, David Almaraz, combining their expertise to create a business rooted in reliability and care for their community.

Throughout his career, Luis has held nearly every role in the moving industry, starting as a Helper and working his way up to Foreman, Dispatcher, and now Owner. This hands-on experience has shaped his leadership style, giving him insight into the challenges and solutions that come with every step of a move and the operations behind them. Today, he manages multiple essential aspects of the business, including scheduling, supervising the moving team, maintaining equipment, and resolving any issues that arise during the process.

One of Luis’s most meaningful achievements was supporting Belmont Village Senior Living during the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility relied on the professionalism and dependability of LAP’s team to handle relocations safely, leading to a trusted partnership that continues to ease the transitions of residents moving in and out.

For Luis, the driving force behind his work is simple: helping people. He takes pride in ensuring that every move is handled with the same attention to detail and thoughtfulness that he would expect for his own family.
